The services provided by Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, Vijayanagar, Brahmanbaria in extension of Information Technology are as follows:


1) Provide necessary assistance in inspection and maintenance of Sheikh Russell Digital Labs;

2) Visiting the ICT Club formed at Sheikh Russell Digital Lab;

3) Provide necessary assistance in inspection and maintenance of Union, Municipal and Upazila Digital Centers;

4) Participation and presentation of opinions in the ICT committee of the upazila;

5) Participation in Upazila Innovation Committees, providing technical support and presenting opinions;

6) Providing technical assistance in maintenance of ICT equipment installed by ICT Division in all departments;

7) Providing technical training and information uploading assistance in updating all departmental and union web portals;

8) Providing basic ICT training and technical support to all government department officials and employees;

9) Providing e-filing training and implementation support to officers/employees of government departments;

10) Providing technical opinion as a member of procurement committee of various departments in procurement of ICT equipment;

11) Providing capacity building training to Unions, Municipalities and entrepreneurs of Digital Centers with a view to strengthening and sustaining Digital Centers;

12) Providing training to teachers in educational institutions to manage multimedia classrooms and create digital content;

13) conducting video conferences and providing technical support;

14) Participation in various fairs including Development Fair, Internet Fair, Digital Fair and celebration of ICT Day;

15) Providing assistance in increasing the use of ICT to provide services at the doorsteps of the people at the grass root level;

16) Carrying out the duties of administrative and finance officer as head of department;

17) Providing technical assistance in setting up and managing free Wi-Fi zones;

18) Carrying out the responsibility of selecting, monitoring and mentoring trainees for various trainings under the Learning and Earning project;
